Get Ready for Dragos Industrial Security Conference (DISC) 2023

Dragos, Inc.

As fall quickly approaches, it’s a great time to spotlight our annual Dragos Industrial Security Conference (DISC) taking place on Sunday, November 5, 2023, in Hanover, Maryland.

Now in its sixth year, DISC is the event where we share our latest research in a full day of ICS/OT cybersecurity presentations. We invite all industrial asset owners and operators to attend for free to hear more on what’s happening in OT cyber threat intelligence and cybersecurity field operations, in addition to the opportunity to participate in Dragos Academy trainings offered in the days leading up to DISC. Due to the sensitivity of the information presented, our exclusive content will not be publicly available after the event.

What You Can Expect at DISC 2023

DISC is an in-person event for practitioners, by practitioners. Dragos has a unique vantage point in understanding the OT security challenges through our boots-on-the-ground perspective of working with customers and our intel-driven focus of understanding the vulnerabilities that matter and the threats focused on OT. DISC is designed to highlight what our practitioners see and share our insights back to the community. We’ll walk through research that we have not published, emerging threat activity we don’t often disclose, and lessons learned from the field. The audience is vetted and there is no media in attendance.

While we don’t want to give too much away yet regarding the DISC 2023 agenda, here are some highlights of the industrial security-focused content we typically share at this event:

  • OT Cyber Threat Landscape
Every year at DISC 2023, we present the latest insights and interesting developments for new or existing cyber threat groups affecting industrial control systems (ICS) and operational technology (OT).
  • Key Vulnerabilities Affecting ICS Equipment
Dragos threat intelligence researchers share their deep dive into the discovery and analysis of unique research and developments that matter for ICS equipment.
  • Frontline Perspectives Gained from Service Engagements
The Dragos Services teams offer real-world insights gained from the field within the past year, sharing case studies and lessons learned that tie back to implementing the five critical controls for OT cybersecurity.
  • Bonus Category – A Technical Deep Dive
And lastly, we always seek to provide something new and different that our audiences can take away with them that’s deeply technical, yet highly applicable, to the environments they work in.
