Examining the Risk of Intellectual Property Theft in Operational Technology Environments

Intellectual property (IP) theft as a component of broader adversary operations is an enduring and acknowledged risk, but one which is more often referenced in relation to enterprise IT environments than operational technology (OT) networks. However, OT networks are not immune from this threat given the increase in interconnectivity with IT networks. Organizations should be prioritizing the protection of their OT environments from these increasing risks.
