Nathaniel Elliott is Director of Engineering Operations at Dragos, Inc., where he leads the project management office for Dragos product and services. He guides global logistics and delivery mechanisms, manages hardware development and integrators developing future appliances, and delivers the Community Defense Program that brings xOT security to small city & municipals that manage your water, gas, and electric utilities.
Nathaniel’s work spans launching new product capabilities like Dragos EmberAI, the company’s AI Module, including a public product launch and the cross company project infrastructure. He is currently leading integration planning for multiple acquisitions developing clear and repeatable frameworks that guide each deal’s path to close.
On the Community Defense Program side, he has had hands on experiences across the country supporting under resourced organizations in their architecture and implementation of the Dragos Platform and best practices in xOT environments.
Before stepping into engineering operations at Dragos in 2020, where he progressed through Engineering Manager and Senior Engineering Manager roles by managing the OT Lab and Infrastructure, Nathaniel built a career spanning agile and portfolio management, business consulting, non-profit development, and creative entrepreneurial execution.
Outside of his operations work, Nathaniel implements xOT tools even on his own farm to practice and learn. The hands on background feeds directly into his work at Dragos, from customer management to mission focus and execution, giving him a combination of operational rigor and storytelling instinct of xOT.
