This release grows protocol support, extends coverage of IoT devices, and extends our active collection suite to give defenders deeper visibility across their environments.

A major enhancement in 3.0 is the ability to inventory operating systems (such as Windows and Linux) and software packages and automatically match to vulnerabilities. The Dragos difference is in our intelligence, ICS relevant vulnerabilities are analyzed and enriched by Dragos vulnerability analysts, providing corrected scoring and “Now / Next / Never” prioritization so teams can focus on the risks that matter most to operations.

Compressed attack timelines don’t just reduce response time—they increase operational and financial risk. When everything competes for attention, defenders need clarity on where to begin. At the center of 3.0 is the new Insights Hub and a completely redesigned UI for enhanced user experience. Alerts, asset details, vulnerabilities, and expert authored recommendations are consolidated into a single view, so teams start each day with clear priorities.

Investigations are accelerated with aggregated detections that cut down redundancy, event-based PCAP flows that provide richer evidence, and built-in prioritization in one place. And with a new API supporting bidirectional data flows, Dragos is placed at the center of the IT/OT SOC, helping teams investigate, respond, and close the loop faster with investments you have already made and integrations with the tools you trust and rely on.

Extending OT visibility and protection often comes with cost and footprint challenges—but every site matters when it comes to security. Platform 3.0 introduces new deployment options that make it easier and more practical to bring coverage to smaller or remote environments.

With 3.0, we introduced our smallest-footprint hardware to date (STS-50), along with a combined Sensor/SiteStore option, expanded support for Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) hardware options, and additional support for virtual environments. Together, these reduce deployment complexity and make it practical to extend protection where it was previously difficult to justify.

To support widespread monitoring, the new centralized sensor management allows configuration and administrative updates to be made once and applied across many sensors—reducing operational overhead and strengthening consistency for large or distributed deployments. Smaller update packages and automatic Knowledge Pack updates further reduce maintenance time, making it easier to keep defenses current at scale.
